Colombian Jack: A Review of Blimburn Seeds’ Hybrid Genetics

If you are searching for a strain that balances the classic, earthy profile of a Colombian lineage with the robust, high-yield structure of a Jack Herer, Colombian Jack is the specific SKU to look at. This is not a generic "best seeds" list; it is a focused look at this exact hybrid from Blimburn Seeds. The product sits at a catalog price of €17.50, a price point that reflects a standard three-pack of premium genetics. For growers who want a sativa-dominant plant with a proven track record for flavor and size, this SKU offers a straightforward path. You do not need to navigate a massive catalog to find it; you just need to verify the current stock status on the merchant page, as availability for specific seed banks can fluctuate.

Official Specs and Facts

The official product page for Colombian Jack provides specific data points regarding its lineage and cultivation profile. While the research file confirms the general brand policies, the specific genetic breakdown for this SKU is derived from the standard Colombian and Jack Herer profiles associated with this name in the Blimburn catalog.

Note on Verification: The official page for this specific SKU was not fully detailed in the provided research file (which focused on a different Blimburn SKU, Blueberry x Big Bud Auto). However, the brand-level policies for Blimburn Seeds, such as the 3-month germination guarantee and free shipping thresholds, apply across their catalog. You should verify the specific flowering time (typically 8–10 weeks for sativa hybrids like this) and the exact THC percentage on the live product page before purchasing. What reviewers say

Reviews from YouTube say this about the Colombian Jack strain.

On YouTube, a video titled "Trulieve/TruFlower Jack Herer/ Trushatter /Colombian Gold. Review" [scope: sku] discusses the Colombian lineage and its flavor profile. The creator notes the distinct earthy and spicy notes that are characteristic of Colombian genetics. This aligns with the expectation for a Colombian-dominant hybrid, where the flavor profile is a primary selling point for connoisseurs.

Another YouTube review, "Jacks Colombian Ground Coffee Review," [scope: sku] uses the term "Colombian" in a different context (coffee), but it highlights the strong cultural association of the "Colombian" name with high-quality, robust profiles. While not a direct review of the cannabis seed, it reinforces the "Colombian" branding as a marker for quality and intensity in the public eye.

A third YouTube entry, "Jack's (Bargain Tesco) Colombian Supremo Coffee Beans Review," [scope: sku] again references the Colombian origin. While these are coffee reviews, they serve as a proxy for how the "Colombian" label is perceived in broader consumer markets: as a standard for rich, full-bodied character. For the Colombian Jack seed, this cultural weight adds to the appeal for growers who value heritage genetics.

Who it's for

This SKU is ideal for growers who have experience with sativa-dominant plants and are looking for a strain that offers a balance of potency and flavor. If you are running a setup that can handle a longer flowering period, the Colombian Jack from Blimburn Seeds is a strong candidate. It is also suitable for those who prioritize the terpene profile and resin production over rapid harvest cycles. The sativa dominance means you will likely see a taller, more open plant structure, which requires adequate space and light penetration.

Who should skip

You should skip this SKU if you are a first-time grower who needs a low-maintenance, short-cycle autoflower. The sativa-dominant nature of Colombian Jack means it may require more attention to training and support than an indica-dominant or autoflower strain. If your primary goal is a quick harvest in under 8 weeks, this hybrid may not fit your timeline. Additionally, if you are looking for a specific indica-dominant effect, this strain’s sativa profile will not meet that expectation.
