Colombian Gold Auto Review: Specs, Germination, and Grower Fit
If you are searching for an autoflower that captures the classic sativa-dominant terpene profile without the 12-week photoperiod commitment, Colombian Gold Auto is the strain to shortlist. It is a direct autoflowering adaptation of the legendary Colombian Gold sativa, designed for growers who want a fast, single-flush cycle that still delivers the citrus-forward, energetic character of the original landrace. The job here is simple: give you a reliable, high-potential autoflower that finishes in roughly 8 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest, regardless of the light schedule.
This page covers what the official Blimburn Seeds listing actually says about genetics, germination, and shipping, plus what public YouTube reviews say about the strain’s performance. If you are deciding between a photoperiod Colombian Gold and this auto version, the trade-off is speed versus peak yield potential.

Who it's for

- Autoflower beginners: The single-flush cycle removes the guesswork of light schedules, making it a solid entry point for growers who want a fast, low-maintenance crop.

Who should skip
This strain is not the right pick if your primary goal is maximum biomass or a heavy, body-focused effect. Confirm details on the current product page.
- Yield maximizers: Autoflowers generally produce smaller yields than photoperiod strains. If you need the highest possible weight per plant, a photoperiod Colombian Gold or a high-yield indica hybrid is a better investment.
- Indica seekers: If you want a strong couch-lock effect for sleep or pain management, the sativa-dominant profile of this Colombian Gold Auto may be too stimulating for your needs.
- Outdoor growers in short seasons: While autoflowers are fast, they still need a consistent warm climate. If your growing window is very short, verify the exact flowering time on the brand page to ensure it fits your timeline.
