What Reviewers Say
Reviews from YouTube say this about the Laundry Detergent Strip. Confirm details on the current product page.
On YouTube, one reviewer discussing the format of laundry strips noted, "You could also do one, but I recommend just going extra if you're going to go anything." This sentiment highlights a common user experience with concentrated strips: for heavily soiled loads or strong odors, using more than one strip ensures the cleaning power is sufficient. It’s a practical tip for anyone using the ALZOO Laundry Detergent Strip on a particularly messy dog blanket.
Another YouTube video titled "Product Review - Tru Earth Laundry Strips" discusses the general category of eco-friendly laundry strips, noting their convenience and reduced environmental impact. While this specific video reviews a different brand, it validates the broader category’s appeal to consumers looking for sustainable alternatives to liquid detergents. The format itself—lightweight, plastic-free, and easy to store—is widely regarded as a smart upgrade for households prioritizing eco-conscious choices. Confirm details on the current product page.
Who It’s For
If you’re a pet parent who wants a detergent that handles the specific challenges of pet ownership—odors, dander, and occasional stains—this strip is designed for you. It’s also ideal for anyone who travels frequently or has limited storage space. Confirm details on the current product page.
- Pet Owners: If your dog or cat has sensitive skin, the "free from artificial colors and flavors" formulation is a safer bet than many conventional detergents.
- Travelers: The lightweight, non-liquid format makes it TSA-friendly and easy to toss in a suitcase without worrying about leaks.
- Eco-Conscious Buyers: If you’re trying to reduce plastic waste and carbon footprint, the lack of shipping water and single-use plastic packaging aligns with those goals. See options
Who Should Skip
This product is a specialized solution, not a universal replacement for every laundry need. Confirm details on the current product page.
- Heavy Industrial Loads: If you’re washing heavily greased work uniforms or industrial linens, a standard heavy-duty liquid detergent might be more effective.
- Those Who Prefer Liquid Control: Some users prefer the ability to adjust liquid amounts precisely for delicate fabrics. While strips are convenient, they offer a fixed dose per strip.
- Non-Pet Households: If you don’t have pets and don’t care about the specific "pet stain and odor" marketing or the B Corp certification, you might find standard eco-detergents more cost-effective. See options

How to Choose in Five Minutes
- Check Your Load Size: The ALZOO Laundry Detergent Strip is concentrated. For a standard load, one strip is usually sufficient. For extra-dirty loads (think: the towel that absorbed the mud from a park walk), consider using two.
- Verify Machine Compatibility: It works in both top-load and front-load machines. No special settings are required. See options
- Consider Your Values: If you prioritize cruelty-free, third-party lab-tested products and B Corp certification, this aligns with those values. See options
- Check Shipping: Confirm that free shipping is available in your region, as the brand currently offers this throughout Mainland USA. See options
- Compare Cost Per Load: At $21.99, calculate how many strips are in the pack to determine the cost per wash. This helps you compare it against liquid detergents you may already use. See options
