What reviewers say
Reviews from YouTube say this about the Kings Camo 2P.
On YouTube, a reviewer noted, "But yeah, I'm very impressed at these offering from Kings." This sentiment aligns with the brand's focus on high-performance materials for serious hunters. Another video discussing the broader XKG Summit line stated, "So, overall, the King's Camo XKG Summit Pack is one of the best ultralight hunting backpacks you can get in 2026, especially if you're serious about backcountry hunting." While this quote refers to the backpack, it reflects the overall quality and ultralight philosophy that defines the Kings Camo ecosystem, including this tent. A third video titled "Kings XKG Tent Review- 4k" provides a visual look at the tent's setup and build quality, reinforcing its position as a premium hunting shelter.
Who it's for
If you are a dedicated backcountry hunter who values weight savings and functionality, the Kings Camo 2P is a strong fit. It is ideal for pairs who hunt together and need a shelter that can withstand harsh conditions. The dedicated vestibules are a significant advantage for those who need to keep boots, packs, and other gear dry and organized without cluttering the sleeping area. This tent is for those who view their gear as an extension of their survival kit, not just a comfort item.
Who should skip
This is not the right choice if you are primarily a car-camper or someone who prioritizes maximum interior square footage over packability. If you are solo hunting, a 2-person tent may be too large and heavy for your specific needs, and you might consider looking at other options in the Kings Camo lineup. Additionally, if you are on a strict budget, the premium materials and specialized design of this tent may not align with your cost-per-use calculation for casual weekend trips.
