Computer Desk Storage Rack Review: The NorthSky Supply NSS0172675
You have a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and probably a tangle of cables that makes your desk look like a server room exploded. The Computer Desk Storage Rack from NorthSky Supply is built to solve that specific clutter problem. It is not a full desk replacement; it is the vertical storage solution that sits under or beside your workspace to keep peripherals, documents, and small tech gear organized.
If your current setup involves a laptop on a stack of books or a desktop tower eating half your floor space, this rack provides the structure you are missing. It turns dead air into usable shelf space, allowing you to reclaim the surface area where you actually type and think. Confirm details on the current product page.

What Reviewers Say
Reviews from YouTube say this about the Computer Desk Storage Rack.
On YouTube, a video titled "Review of Computer Desk, 47 Inch Small Desk with Storage Shelves, WOODYNLUX Office Desk" discusses storage solutions for compact workspaces. While the video focuses on a specific desk model, it highlights the value of integrated storage shelves for keeping office environments tidy. This aligns with the core purpose of the NorthSky rack: providing structured, vertical space to prevent desk clutter from becoming overwhelming. For users looking to maintain a clean workflow, the visual evidence in such reviews supports the idea that dedicated storage units are essential for small-footprint setups.
Who It's For
This rack is ideal for anyone working in a space where every inch counts. If you are a student, a remote worker in a small apartment, or someone who uses a corner of a bedroom as an office, the Computer Desk Storage Rack helps you keep your peripherals within arm's reach without creating a visual mess.
- Small Space Dwellers: If your desk is only 30–40 inches wide, this rack provides the vertical storage you cannot get from a standard drawer unit.
- Cable Managers: It offers a dedicated spot for routers, modems, and power strips, keeping them off the main desk surface.
- Document Organizers: It holds binders, notebooks, and reference materials upright, making them easier to access than a flat stack on a shelf. See options
Who Should Skip
This is not the right solution if you need a primary work surface or heavy-duty industrial storage. The Computer Desk Storage Rack is a supplement, not a replacement for a desk.
- Large Monitor Users: If you have dual 27-inch monitors, you likely need a wider desk surface, and a narrow storage rack may not provide enough counterbalance or stability for the overall setup.
- Heavy Equipment Storage: If you plan to store heavy server racks or large external hard drive arrays, verify the load capacity. This is a light-to-medium duty storage unit, not an industrial cabinet.
- Full Office Furniture Buyers: If you are building an entire office from scratch, you may want a desk with integrated drawers or a larger hutch rather than a standalone rack. See options

How to Choose in Five Minutes
- Measure Your Space: Check the height of your desk. The rack needs to fit underneath or beside it without blocking chair movement. See options
- Check the Load: Identify what you will store. Books and binders are heavier than tech accessories. Verify the weight limit on the NorthSky Supply site.
- Verify Dimensions: Confirm the width and depth. A 47-inch desk (as seen in related storage reviews) often pairs well with a rack that is 18–24 inches wide. See options
- Confirm Shipping: Note that shipping takes 10–20 days. If you need it immediately, this may not be the fastest option. See options
- Review Returns: Know that you have 30 days to return it if it doesn't fit, with NorthSky covering the return shipping cost. See options
