Aluminium relay baton review
A relay baton is the one piece of equipment that decides whether a 4x100m handoff is a clean pass or a dropped race. The Aluminium relay baton from Giantmart is built for that exact job: a lightweight metal shaft that fits the standard handoff zone and stays rigid enough to grip without wobbling in the exchange. If your team is running meets, training sprints, or school track days, a dependable baton is the small detail that separates a smooth relay from a penalty.
Most batons are either flimsy plastic that bends or heavy metal that fatigues your hand. This one sits in the middle—aluminium is light enough for quick exchanges but stiff enough to hold a firm grip. At the catalog price of $86.00 (verify current pricing on the merchant page), it is positioned as a durable, competition-ready option rather than a disposable practice stick.
What the official page actually lists
The product page for the Aluminium relay baton confirms the core material and the merchant’s service policies. Specific dimensional specs (exact length, diameter, weight) are not broken out in the fetched data, so verify those numbers directly on the product page before ordering for a strict rule-compliant meet.

The 10-day return window and the cancellation policy for pre-production orders are the two service facts worth noting if you are buying for a team and need a backup plan. Check the official listing before you buy.
Who it's for
If you are coaching a track squad or running a school relay program, you need a baton that does not fail mid-race. The Aluminium relay baton is built for athletes who are doing repeated, high-speed handoffs where a flimsy plastic baton would bend or a heavier material would slow the exchange. Coaches who want one baton that survives a full season of training and meets will find the aluminium construction and the merchant’s 10-day return window a sensible safety net.
For individual sprinters who train relays regularly, this baton gives you a consistent grip feel every session. If you are the team manager ordering for multiple runners, the ability to cancel orders before production starts makes it easier to adjust quantities as your roster changes. Who should skip
If you only need a baton for a one-off casual game or a classroom demonstration, the $86.00 price point is more than most people want to spend on a single-use item. A basic plastic baton will do the job for that scenario. Check the official listing before you buy.
If your specific league or competition mandates a particular baton specification that differs from what this aluminium model offers, verify the exact dimensions and weight against your rulebook before buying. The product page does not list every dimensional spec in the data we have, so a quick check against your governing body’s requirements is the right move before committing to a team order.
